HOW THE ASSOCIATION WORKS

The Association is managed by a Chairman and  Executive Committee, who are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The Committee meets several times a year to deal with the issues raised by members, organise events, arrange the AGM and mount campaigns when required. If you belong to the Association  and have a concern or a proposal about the neighbourhood, contact us and it will be put on the agenda for discussion at the next meeting.
KCRA members can also attend the AGM, usually held in early April, when they can raise any concerns they have, talk to the committee, meet their local councillors and neighbourhood police as well as enjoy a drink with fellow residents.

   MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

The Association seeks to represent the rights and interests of residents living in the Kensington Court area and respond to your concerns. We keep you informed on important local issues and news. We lobby on your behalf with the Council and other authorities.  We monitor and, if necessary, object to planning applications that affect this community.
We seek to improve the quality of life of our community. Our aim is to make this corner of Kensington as pleasant and as friendly a place as possible.
We hold a Street Party every September, which is supported by local restaurants and businesses and
over the last 10 years has become  a popular event in the Kensington calendar.
KCRA members also get attractive discounts at many local restaurants, like Cote Bistro, Ottoemezzo and the Builders Arms; and businesses, including Gallery 19, kallkwik and Imenio.

We have a list of useful services and tradespeople, all recommended by fellow members, so they are people you can rely on. If you would like the latest list, go to the Members' Area.

If you are a resident of Kensington Court, why not help us and yourself by becoming a member. It costs only £5, which you will recoup when you claim your first discount.
Go to the Join & Renew section of this website.
If you have any concerns, comments or ideas about our neighbourhood (or the Association!), you can send them using the comment form below.
